November, a beautiful month that graces us with one of my fave Holidays...Thanksgiving...Here on the West Coast...we're having a gorgeous Fall...the trees, sunsets, flowers are the most brilliant I've ever seen this time of year...The flower markets here have a large array of beautiful flowers, several new colors of roses & mums...trying to decide which to use for Thanksgiving...Looking forward to celebrating with family & friends and enjoying a delicious Southern Dinner menu...Turkey & Dressing with all the wonderful sides and tempting desserts...Most of all thankful for wonderful time with family & friends...Wishing you a wonderful holiday...Happy Thanksgiving!

Summer's end is almost here...the last few weeks of warm days, gorgeous sunsets and here on the west coast, beautiful flowers in hues of yellows, ochre & soft orange...I shopped the flower markets several times the last week, the vendors stands were filled with early fall colors...I think everyone is looking forward to Autumn this year, I also shopped several antique markets...the holidays seem to be on everyone's mind as they loaded  up with vintage & antique furniture, large platters, wooden bread boards, French & copper everything...I found a few wonderful finds for my shop...Flower urns & vintage baskets are also popular...We attended several wine tasting events at the local wineries, always a treat...I was inspired to bake, for the first time, my Grandmother's Orange cake, that was passed down to my Mother...my sister shared the recipe with me & helped guide me on the delicious glaze..it is one of her faves...The cake was delicious & brought back wonderful memories...I also prepared Nicoise Salad & Chicken Piccata... A glimpse into my last few weeks...flowers, entertaining & antiques...Thanks for stopping by!

 Peony love...Flower Shopping this week, only once a year these gorgeous flowers appear, Peonies...always a fave...Entertaining this week with New Orleans Gumbo, French Baguettes & a wonderful French Chablis...Memorial Day Weekend, a time to remember...reflect on those who gave everything so we can live in this Country...Always thankful & free....Cheers!

 May, this year has been a beautiful month, here on the West Coast, all flowers are exceptionally vibrant, beautiful & abundant...the Antique & Flower weekly markets are very busy with new vendors, stands are overflowing with wonderful selections, everyone seems to be in the garden, entertaining with special events, weddings, graduations, birthdays...Our weather has been SoCal perfection...Looking forward to Memorial Day and Summers arrival...A glimpse into my past few weeks...May & her flowers...

 February has been a beautiful month this year, the Flower & Antique Markets are very busy...the vendors are well stocked with every flower you can imagine...French & garden antiques are everywhere at the weekend markets...The weather has been perfect...Shoppers are filling their baskets & cars with flowers, Vintage & Antique garden statues, pots & more garden finds...Entertaining this week with all my flower market finds...A small glimpse into the last few weeks...
